«©NCSX» Alter released the resplendent OdinSphere 1/8 Scale Gwendolyn figure last year and Yamato follows up this year with a SIF EX Princess Mercedes figure which is accompanied by a frog whom she met in a swamp in the third chapter of the game. Mercedes is armed with her Crossbow Psypher which she slings in front of her right leg in a non-threatening pose and her faerie wings are evocative of an iridescent butterfly. The Mercedes figure measures 24cm or 9.44" tall and is constructed of PVC and ABS. Preorders are welcome to ship in mid-late August 2009 at JPY7800 or US$85.90 from NCS.

«©NCSX» The Japanese release of King of Fighters XII ships a week later than the North American version so we're expecting dismal sales. The only saving grace may be the Japanese PS3 version's lovely cover art which features Kyo and Iori duking it out while a blonde named Ash Crimson lords over the two of them with a luminous index finger. The USA version's cover art will likely feature Kyo as the centerpiece if Ignition's "Rock the Box" poll is any indication. The Japanese X360 version's cover art looks like a mess but that's just our opinion.
Preorders are welcome for both Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of KOF XII which ship on July 16, 2009. Early preorders will include a bonus KOF 15th Anniversary Soundtrack.
«©NCSX» Japanese manufacturer Exar has started preorders for a PS3 USB joystick that's decorated with KOF XII character artwork. If you're a Wii Tatsunoko vs Capcom player, the design of the joystick may look similar because it's the same exact form-factor as Exar's Tatsunoko stick. A 35mm lollipop-style joystick is located on the left whilst six buttons reside on the right. The characters shown on the top of the panel are: Terry Bogard, Athena, Ryo Sakazaki, Ash Crimson, Iori Yagami, and Kyo Kusanagi.
Preorders are welcome to ship on July 16, 2009 at JPY6279 or US$79.90 from NCS. Please note that we'll be opening up preorders for a new production of the Neo Geo 2 joystick (USB) for the PS3 tomorrow.
«©NCSX» Three bright-eyed and short of stature witch sisters named Marl, Lilte, and Shell are inducted into an interactive adventure game that takes place over the course of a summer. The publisher touts a total of over 350 scenarios that the girls may engage and a large number of costumes to wear during said scenarios.
NCS is accepting preorders for a regular edition of the game and a limited edition which is bundled with a bonus music CD.
«©NCSX» The Evangelion and Angels go to war once more in a pseudo 3D fighting game where the combatants punch, kick, and jump their way through the ranks. We term Evangelion Battle Orchestra a "pseudo 3D" fighting game because the action takes place on a 2D plane ala Naruto Narutimett Hero but the world is rendered in 3D which twists and turns with the action on screen. There's also a collection of cut-scenes that are shown during a fight when a special attack or weapon is triggered. The animation serves to break up the flow of the battle and perhaps energize the gamer with a feeling of power and authority. The PSP version of NGE: BO features 24 characters to use in the game, a multi-player ad hoc mode, and a Mission Mode which contains 100 stages. The first production of the game will ship with a bonus postcard and sticker set. Preorders ship on July 30, 2009.
«©NCSX» Lucy Maria Misora, Tamaki Kousaka, and the other To Heart 2 girls return in another conversion of the popular romance adventure from 2004. The PSP game features a new heroine who joins the regular cast and new scenarios which bolster the original storylines. Three versions of To Heart 2 Portable will be released as follows: A regular edition which includes a pack of five bonus UMD case inserts and a sticker in 50% ratio, a W-Pack Edition (JPY6800), and a W-Pack First Edition (JPY7800). The W-Pack versions also include the original To Heart game which is mastered on a second UMD. Preorders for all three versions ship on July 30, 2009.
