TOYS Odin Sphere: Mercedes 1/8 Scale Figure

«©NCSX» A leggy Mercedes of OdinSphere fame hurtles herself forward in Alter's 1/8 scale figure which was originally released earlier this year. Mercedes is one of the key characters in OdinSphere and she's the daughter of the Fairy Queen Elfaria. In her storyline, Lord Odin slays her mother and Mercedes ascends to the role of Queen of the Faeries.

   The Alter version of Mercedes is accompanied by a leaping frog who's also powering itself forward with its springy legs. Similar to Yamato's SIF EX rendition of Mercedes, Alter gives the Princess-Queen the Crossbow Psypher so she can defend herself from malcontents. Two flowers crown Mercedes' head whilst her black wings are in full bloom and apparently holding her aloft as she moves forward. The new production of the Mercedes figure is shipping to all preorders this afternoon.

TOYS OdinSphere Gwendolyn 1/8 Scale Figure - Import Preorder

«©NCSX» In Odin Sphere, a Valkyrie named Gwendolyn kicks off the game where she uses a weapon known as the Psypher Spear to battle foes. Gwendolyn also has a swooping dive move where she glides across the screen with predator-like grace. From the air, Gwendolyn strikes downwards with her spear to basically put the fear of Odin in hapless foes and woodland animals alike.

Japanese toy manufacturer Alter gives appreciation to Gwendolyn with a statuesque 1/8 scale PVC figure where the Valkyrie perches on one leg atop a snarled tree stump. Gwen raises her arms to heaven with Psypher Spear in hand and Valkyrie wings on full display. The sculpture measures 35cm or 13.77" in height which means the packaging will be large and unwieldy. A circular disc is included inside the package which serves as a display base for the figure. TOYS SIF EX OdinSphere Velvet Figure - New Import, In Stock

«©NCSX» Velvet's story begins in the second chapter of the OdinSphere game but her full drama is explored in the fifth chapter where Velvet's background and continuing tale is fleshed out. She's a princess without a home whose kingdom was razed by a weapon known as the Crystallization Cauldron which was created by her father, King Valentine. In the game, she works to prevent the coming of Armageddon by disabling the Cauldron.

Yamato Toys releases a 1/8 scale rendition of Velvet which measures 25cm or 9.84" tall. Velvet wears her crimson outfit which may be compared to a gypsy's costume. A jester's cap is mounted atop her head while a tiny top covers her shoulders and bosom. A sash of black material rings her waist and a red slip of material serves as a dress to cover Velvet's backside. Note the dress only encircles her rear and black hosiery finishes up Velvet's choice of garb. She's on her tiptoes which may indicate readiness and anticipation while her hands hold a Psypher Chain. TOYS SIF EX OdinSphere Princess Mercedes - New, In Stock

«©NCSX» Alter released the resplendent OdinSphere 1/8 Scale Gwendolyn figure last year and Yamato follows up this year with a SIF EX Princess Mercedes figure which is accompanied by a frog whom she met in a swamp in the third chapter of the game. Mercedes is armed with her Crossbow Psypher which she slings in front of her right leg in a non-threatening pose and her faerie wings are evocative of an iridescent butterfly. The Mercedes figure measures 24cm or 9.44" tall and is constructed of PVC and ABS while the frog measures 2.25." The paint on the figure is very clean and there are realistic color nuances in the flesh tones that were used for Merce's skin.

A large white lily pad is included inside the package which serves as the base upon which Mercedes and the frog can stand upon. Holes in the soles of Mercedes' shoes allow her to be inserted onto the lily pad's pegs to allow her to stand on her own. Also included inside the package is a little swiveling attachment for her crossbow. All preorders have shipped as of yesterday and new orders are welcome to ship today.
