KOF MI Regulation A Mai Shiranui Next Fight Ver - Preorder

«©NCSX» When King of Fighters was first released back in 1994, Mai Shiranui was a member of Team Gorgeous and wore a skimpy red outfit that would have worked well in a burlesque show. Nearly fifteen years after her debut to the world, Mai is exactly the same girl we knew way back when. She still wears the same skimpy outfit and is just as fresh-faced as she was from 1994.

Alphamax has started accepting reservations for a King of Fighters Maximum Impact Regulation A Mai Shiranui cold-cast figure which is set to 1/6 scale and is sculpted by 2%. Mai is in a crouching position and her hair swings to one side perhaps to illustrate that's she in a breezy spot.

Preorders are welcome to ship on or around March 11, 2009 at JPY15,800 or US$188.90 from NCS. Pricing reflects the strength of the Japanese Yen against the US Dollar and shipping costs from overseas.

Street Fighter IV - Import Preorder

«©NCSX» Preorders are welcome for the Japanese version of PS3 Street Fighter IV which ships a week earlier than the USA version of the game. That's not much of a time leeway for importers but at least the game cover (on the left) for the Japanese release is a lot nicer than the USA version (on the right). There's a yin-yang vibe going on with the Japanese cover that demonstrates the contrast between the two greatest fighting game archetypes the world has ever known. Or something like that. Preorders for the Japanese version of SFIV will ship on February 12. Preorders are also welcome for the USA version shipping on Feb 19.

Dragon Dance (ドラゴンダンス) - Import Preorder

«©NCSX» Success Company's upcoming Dragon Dance coin-op is getting a quick conversion to the PSP and NDS portable handhelds next February. In the game, a dragon that's made up of mahjong tile segments is slowly winding its way to a gate on a corner of the screen. Your job is to click on mahjong tiles that are located on the playboard to remove the dragon's matching mahjong segments and stop its progress. Once all of the mahjong tiles on the board are cleared, the dragon will attempt to cross the gate but it'll be rejected. From there, another puzzle begins with another gate-crashing dragon. Think of it as a new take on the Shanghai franchise.

NCS is accepting preorders for the Nintendo DS and Playstation Portable versions of Dragon Dance which are scheduled to ship on February 26, 2009. Pricing is set at JPY3800 or US$40.90 each.
