PSP Tenchu 4 Plus - New Import, In Stock

NCS Product Synopsis
«©NCSX» Rikimaru and Ayame are back as stealth assassins under the employ of Lord Gohda who skulk in dark places and attack with sword slashes and one-hit killing blows. Tenchu 4 emphasizes the use of stealth and the game provides a bevy of shadowy places to hide, wait, and attack from. The environments are darkly lit which also attend to a ninja's need for stealth. Unsuspecting enemies who approach Rikimaru's general vicinity but are unaware of his presence may be killed with a single critical stroke. For example, when a hapless victim draws near, Riki can grab him and then perform a powerful blow to the head which kills him instantly. Rikimaru can also topple an enemy from afar by throwing a single shuriken which causes the victim lose his balance and fall to his death. Another killing attack allows Rikimaru to choke someone for about a second but that single second is all that it takes to induce the long sleep. Dead bodies may be stored in large urns or pulled behind bushes to hide them from view. That way, they won't alert any other guards to Riki or Ayame's presence.

As the story goes, a rival of Gohda has kidnapped his daughter Kiku-Hime and spirited her away to an unknown domain. Rikimaru and Ayame are charged with venturing forth and rescuing the Princess. Tenchu's original developer Acquire returns to the franchise that they built and the "Plus" edition of Tenchu 4 includes a new ad hoc communication mode where players can skulk together in stealth-slash-kill missions. The game also features new skills when multiple players collaborate together.

PSP Tenchu Kurenai - New Import, In Stock

NCS Product Synopsis
«©NCSX» Sisters are doing it for themselves in the Tenchu Kurenai game. Rikimaru has gone missing and its up to Ayame and a new gal named Rin to save the day. Rin encounters Ayame and mistakes her for a member of the murderous clan but the two eventually clear the air and resolve to work together. Rin goes on missions issued by Ogin who leads the Beniya assassin group. Similar to previous Tenchu adventures, the name of the game is stealth and stealth kills where Rin and Ayame gently waltz up to foes in order to slash throats, eviscerate, and disembowel folks. Ayame may perform various stealth kills such as the "Crossed Blades" where she shears a target's throat with crosscut action and "Twisted Fangs" where she plunges two blades deep into a foe. Rin also has a repertoire of stealth kills including "Sundered Prey" and "Twin Serpents" which are equally impressive to witness. During their travels, Ayame and Rin encounter guards, archers, samurai, and many others who attack with specific weapons and tactics. Dogs are also present on the grounds and they present a threat in that they will alert the guards to Ayame's presence when she's skulking around.

The new Tenchu borrows a feature from games such as Manhunt and Splinter Cell where the girls kill, carry, and then hide bodies to keep them from view. A dead body in the middle of the village tends to draw suspicion and unfavorable reactions from the locals...

PSP Tenchu San Portable - New Import, In Stock

NCS Product Synopsis
«©NCSX» Back in the 80s, ninjas were big not only in Japanese pop culture but in the West as well. Ninjas are enigmatic, shadowy, and highly skilled practitioners of an ancient art which are attractive qualities. However, somewhere in the ascension of the ninja, the marketplace reached a point which we're going to call "Peak Ninja" and it was all downhill from there. Kids no longer dressed up like ninjas on Halloween, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles disappeared from Saturday mornings, and throwing stars were no longer sold at flea markets. After the crash, ninjas slowly made their way back into pop culture but they would never enjoy the love they once knew.

The Tenchu franchise has been around for a little over a decade and we've watched its sales performance on a number of consoles and handhelds through the years. The games have been solid sellers and the PSP conversion of Tenchu San (Wrath of Heaven) Portable looks to continue the tradition. The game takes place one year after
the demonic Mei-Oh was slain right inside his stronghold by Rikimaru and Ayame. Despite the success of the mission, Rikimaru is presumed dead by Ayame and Kiku when he doesn't escape with them. Tenchu San follows the adventure of Rikimaru as he returns to action and battles another evildoer named Tenrai. Making a return is the demon known as Onikage who is now under the employ of Tenrai and working to revive his master Mei-Oh. Along with Rikimaru serving as a protagonist, Ayame, Tesshu, and three new characters are featured in the game along with new missions and moves.
