NEO Samurai Spirits Zero - Sale Item US$189 [Please read description]

   Almost brand new copy of Samurai Spirits Zero for the Japanese Neo Geo AES console which was returned by a customer a few years ago. The reason? The game outputs no sound although the visuals and gameplay work fine... there's just no sound. We haven't tried cleaning the cartridge contacts since they look perfect so we doubt it's the contacts. Please note that there is scuffing on the front of the cartridge as shown in the third photo which was probably caused when the customer inserted the cartridge into his AES console. Order.

   We have a soft spot in our hearts for the original NeoGeo AES controller. Sure, it's not the best nor the snappiest joystick we've ever manhandled but there's a certain design aesthetic to the controller that still appeals to our Neo Geo lovin' souls. Exar probably knows our kind so they're showing love to SNK's Neo Geo joystick once more with a new production that ships this week for the Playstation 3. The four main buttons (Square, X, Triangle, O) are arranged in a diagonal row on the left side of the controller and the Dual Shock 3's trigger buttons are mapped to two little sliver-buttons.

«©NCSX» Brand new and factory packaged Imagineer Arcade Stick for the Super Famicom, Mega Drive, Neo Geo, Neo Geo CD, and PC-Engine. How does Imagineer's joystick play well with so many consoles? By using a universal input port and including the necessary cables for all of the supported consoles. The cables measure 2.4m or 7.87' each and they're all bagged up and twist-tied in factory sealed condition. The joystick features turbo-fire for all six face buttons and a slow-motion function may be toggled by pressing the button labeled "SLOW" which is located to the right of the turbo switches. The controller is solidly built with non-creaky appeal and the joystick is the non-clicky kind.

Product Condition
NCS' remaining inventory is brand new and factory boxed in the original cardboard containers. The packaging is in very good structural shape with only a few slight dings caused by years of warehouse-to-warehouse transportation and storage.

TOYS Mario Trading Cards - Import Preorder

«©NCSX» Like other forms of craftsmanship such as furniture-making and artistic endeavors, the design and creation of videogames is/was an evolutionary process. Cavemen art consisted of stick figures and coarse geometric shapes. Compare that to a Degas. The one with the ballerinas dubbed "Petit Rats." When Nintendo started their trade in videogames, their designs were limited by the hardware of the day. In the case of the original Super Mario Bros game on the Famicom, the graphics were blocky, chunky, and the pixels were visible. Pixel-images are called dot-graphics nowadays and they're the design standard for a pack of playing cards which is shipping from Nintendo in July.

Along with the dot-graphics playing cards design, Nintendo is also releasing a version which features "Standard" animation artwork of the Mario cast of characters. The third deck of cards sports "Neo" CG renditions of the Mario crew which are polished and modern. Despite the gloss of the third variant, we think there's going to be a surfeit of love for the original dot-graphics design since that's classic styling. PSP Neo Geo Heroes: Ultimate Shooting - Preorder

«©NCSX» Originally released for the Japanese coin-op market on Taito Type X hardware, King of Fighters Sky Stage was a vertical shooter where the cast of SNK's KOF series took to the heavens and shot bullets at waves of enemies. It was a new venue for normally ground-based strikers such as Kyo Kusanagi and Iori Yagami.

SNK is expanding on the Sky Stage premise with a new PSP title dubbed Neo Geo Heroes: Ultimate Shooting. By changing KOF in the title to Neo Geo Heroes, the game is more inclusive and characters are recruited from other SNK properties so they can also take to the heavens and shoot. The cast of characters in the game is as follows:
