Those mangy Nintendogs are passé. The new day is all about cats. Did you know the Egyptians revered their felines and considered them sacred beasts? Well, it's true. A cat's eyes are like little living jewels so maybe that was the attraction.
Sega gives gamers a chance to care for and virtually cuddle with cats. Lots of them. There's 20 breeds featured in the game including American Curl, American Shorthair, Bombay, Siamese, and Siberian. By using the stylus to operate a virtual hand, players may pet their cat, massage its belly, and frolic with it. Simple toys such as miniature trucks and balls may also be used to interact with a feline and it'll crouch, stretch, and play like a real cat is apt to do.

Valkyria Chronicles combines strategy elements of tactical role-playing games with real-time action sequences. All of this is played out in an innovative and beautiful visual style. Valkyria Chronicles is set in a fictitious continent reminiscent of 1930s Europe - divided in two and ruled by the Empire and the Federation. The Empire has set its sights on invading a small neutral country called Gallia, which is situated in the middle of the two great empires. The game follows a hero named Welkin and his fellow soldiers of the Federation's 7th Platoon as they engage in a series of epic battles.
Built upon the new "CANVAS" engine, developed internally by SEGA Game Studios Japan, Valkyria Chronicles' stunning 3D graphics resemble a watercolor painting in motion, taking full advantage of the processing capabilities of the PLAYSTATION® 3.

Falcom's famous Vantage Master game was originally released in 1997 and captivated gamers with its addictive and challenging gameplay. In VM, players choose a hero known as a Master who can summon discarnates with elemental alignments called Natials. By teaming up with a Natial, the Master battles opponents on grid-laced battlefields to become the top dog in the world of summoning. Each Master and Natial only has 10 HP and the goal is to knock an opponent's HP to 0 before he does the same to your protagonist. Upon starting the adventure, a series of four questions is poised to the player which decide the type of summoner he becomes in the game. Classes include well-traveled archetypes such as Fighter, Knight, Thief, and Magician along with unique classes such as Fraulein, Fugitive, Sister, and Savage.
The PSP conversion of Vantage Master is based on the original game and four modes are available as follows:
Scenario Mode: Battle opposing Masters across 30 stages
Expert Mode: Use a fully-powered Master to battle on harsh terrain
Free Battle: Adjust the settings and play options to fit your preference
Network Battle: Link up with other players to engage in Master battles
Characters from Falcom's Sora no Kiseki (Joshua Bright, Sarah Bright) appear in the game for a smidge of PSP exclusivity.
NCS sold out of official Gamecube controllers about a year ago. Sales just picked up one day and by the end of the week, the entire inventory was gone. We haven't been able to restock them since.
To address the demand for Gamecube controllers, Nintendo releases a new production of the original GC controller in white which matches the shell color of the Wii. The controller follows the same design as the original GC pads and features a lengthy 3m (9.84') cord. Preorders will ship this afternoon but please note we're completely sold out today. Another production is expected in a few weeks and we'll update accordingly once they're in stock again for new orders. Thanks.
By the year 2089, man has colonized planets beyond Earth and space stations have been set up to shuttle colonists to their destinations. Without warning, squishy alien creatures attack the stations and cause a ruckus. As one of two space crusaders who have escaped capture, player takes charge and shoots, powers up and rescues hostages through various levels. At the end of each stage, a big boss hustles into view which requires a lot more firepower to turn into chunky pieces. A relentless bomb timer counts down each level and behooves one to run, explore, and destroy with the quickness before it goes off.
Similar to all other Sega Ages games, Alien Syndrome includes a history leaflet which may be bound into the Sega Ages 2500 six-ringed binder that shipped inside the limited edition of Phantasy Star SA2500.
Sale Offering: NCS' remaining inventory of Sega Ages 2500 Vol. 14: Alien Syndrome is new, factory sealed, and in mint condition. Pricing is set at US$18.90 per copy which includes free shipping by USPS Media Mail within the U.S. Larger Photos.
NCS was first introduced to Weekly Shonen Jump back in the 80s. We were just punk kids back then, wandering the wilds of New York City where bookstores like Kinokuniya and Asahiya became occasional haunts. A portly but attractive salesgirl at Asahiya pointed out Shonen Jump and recommended it. Each issue of Shonen Jump was as big as a dictionary but way more enjoyable to read. We were hooked, When the summer of 2008 rolls around, Shonen Jump will celebrate its 40th anniversary and a barrage of merchandising is on the way to mark the occasion.
The first salvo is a quintet of Sofubi (soft vinyl) figures - Goku, Kinnikuman, Naruto, Ichigo, and Luffy - who hail from five of the most popular works featured in Shonen Jump. Each figure measures 10cm or 3.93" tall and is designed by PansonWorks. Pricing is set at US$12.90 each but we have a separate listing for the complete set of five figures for the price of US$56.90. Preorders are welcome to ship in late August 2008.
Professor Ryuuta Kawashima and Nintendo gave the world Otona no DS Training aka Brain Training a few years ago and ignited a wave of non-games that enriched the lives of users the world over.
Professor Kawashima and Nintendo collaborate once again this summer with an NDS abacus tutor which teaches an old school means of crunching numbers. Before calculators and computers, the Chinese, Greeks, and Romans used the abacus to solve math problems involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Computing fractions and the square root of numbers is also possible with an abacus so it's a useful tool to get familiar with. Preorders are welcome to ship on June 19, 2008.
