TOYS Kaitendoh Horror Figure Series Zombie Girl - New Import

NCS Product Synopsis
«©NCSX» Japanese toy manufacturer Kaitendoh is kicking off a new line of toys called the "Kaitendoh Horror Figure Series" which features gory actors. The first figure in the series is dubbed Zombie Girl and she appears to have once been a scullery maid of some sort. Before she became undead, her duties probably included scrubbing, laundering, dusting, and food preparation. She probably also lifted a few pots in her time while working in the kitchen.

Those menial days of labor are over however because she caught a bug. Not just any bug but the zombie contagion which has knotted her flesh and has caused her to hunger. Zombie Maid is still decked out in her work uniform which is ruffled and unkempt which is befitting of her current state. Her eyes exhibit a special glare that only zombies are capable of and her awkward posture is indicative of a body that ambulates by way of shuffle steps rather than an elegant gait.

The Zombie Girl was originally released as a Polystone PVC resin kit back in the summer of 2009 at Wonder Fest but it's now being sold as a completed and fully painted polystone figure. All preorders have shipped as of yesterday and new orders are welcome to ship this afternoon.

Wii Calling: Kuroki Chakushin - New Import, In Stock

From the Publisher
CALLING brings new heights to the horror genre, with a breath-taking control system that immerses the player into its nightmare scenario. The player begins the game trapped in a strange room, with the Wii Remote doubling as the on-screen protagonist’s mobile phone. Using a torch to scour the dimly-lit area, players will also receive mysterious calls to their handset, which are answered by raising the Wii Remote to their ear. From this simple basis, CALLING then ramps up the fear, as a ghostly voice speaks directly to the user…

The story revolved around the urban legend of the ‘Page of Black’ website. Rumour has it that anyone accessing the site will die from a coma brought on by an unknown cause. The site is a simple black page with a numeric counter in the centre, but is linked to a low-key chat room. Not everyone can enter the chat room, but on doing so, the player’s psyche starts to receive calls from ‘Abyss’,. They then enter a state of limbo in a place known as ‘Border’ which is seemingly located between life and death. There are several areas in the ‘Border’, and they are inhabited by Spirits which start contacting its various feelings via the user’s mobile phone. Occasionally, these spirits will also attack the player.

The phone and flashlight are both controlled through manipulation of the Wii Remote.

NDS Nanashi no Game Me - New Import, In Stock

NCS Product Synopsis
«©NCSX» In the Japanese novel and film titled Ringu, viewers who watch a spooky video on a cursed VHS tape die within seven days of the viewing. Square's Nanashi no Game from 2008 hews to the same style of curse. Hapless players who engage a cursed RPG are destined to die within seven days if they don't plow through the game and finish it. To make matters worse, neither a FAQ nor a walkthrough is anywhere to be found.

The sequel to Nanashi no Game follows the same curse convention but this time, the protagonist is an 18-year old college student at Nara University who gets involved in the cursed RPG. To add to his folly, he also plays a second cursed game which is a side scrolling platformer for a double dose of the evil eye. Supporting characters include the hero's anthropology professor and two classmates who offer assistance and aid.

Wii Kyoufu Taikan Juon - New Import, Restock SOON

From the Publisher
It is said that when a person dies with a deep and burning grudge, a curse is born. When an average housewife in Nerima, Japan, was murdered in a grisly fashion, it gave rise to a curse so powerful that it threatens to kill at a pace thought unimaginable before.
The curse manifests on those who encounter the curse by any means, such as entering the house or being in contact with somebody who was already cursed. Once Erika Yamada is exposed to the curse while searching for her dog in an abandoned warehouse, the entire Yamada family is put in grave danger as soon as she reunites with them at home. They must now face their individual challenges alone, and only by overcoming the curse together will their family truly be free again.
Using the Wii Remote as a flashlight, JU-ON: The Grudge has players move forward with the touch of a button and explore haunted areas such as an abandoned warehouse, a dimly-lit hospital, and a mannequin factory. Much like a haunted house, the player must proceed forward even after being frightened and running away from the initial threat. As much fun as it is to get scared, sometimes it’s even more fun to watch others play to observe their reactions.

Zero: Tsukihami no Kamen - New Import, Restock Monday

Tecmo's Zero (Fatal Frame) franchise returns with a new adventure that takes place on the spooky and misty island of Rougetsu. On that island sits an equally spooky mansion which has its own multi-table dining room and a museum dedicated to Kunihiko Aso who invented the Camera Obscura. A few years ago, five girls were brought to the island against their will but a detective named Choushiro Kirishima tracked them down and brought them all home. In the years since the ordeal, two of the girls died of mysterious circumstances. Years later, the three remaining survivors return to Rougetsu island to determine what exactly happened and come to terms with their traumatic ordeal.

The Camera Obscura remains the weapon of choice in the new Zero game which is controlled by the Wii Remote. The nunchuk is used to maneuver the heroines in the game as they explore dank areas haunted by vengeful spooks. Early in the game, players will learn how to perform a quick swivel move by swishing the Wii Remote in a jerky motion. To look up and down, the remote is tilted in the direction you wish to view for an intuitive control scheme that allows for fluid movements, sightings, and ghost busting with the Camera Obscura. «NCS Game Notes & Spoilers»

Siren: New Translation - New Import, Restock on Monday

NCS didn't think the original Siren game needed an encore but Sony disagrees. They've revamped the game for the Playstation 3 with highly polished visuals, Dual Shock 3 support, and the same scary storyline that shook PS2 gamers when Siren first shipped in 2003. Players take a trip to a forlorn village named Hanuda which has been afflicted by red water that turns the living into grotesque and murderous creatures known as "Shibito." Although Siren may be classified as a survival game in a horror setting, the burden of survival doesn't rest on a single protagonist. A whole cast of characters serve to move the narrative along and engage the Shibito in loathsome activities. Siren is relatively import friendly - the voice acting is in English and the archives from the film crew are also marked with English text. Note however that the subtitles are in Japanese.

Early preorders will include a bonus "Original Siren CD" in 30% ratio. We'll give the bonus out accordingly today.

Mite wa Ikenai - Import Preorder

When there's something strange in your neighborhood, you might want to call in the Ghost Busters but they're old now. Bill, Dan, and the rest of the gang can't be expected to lug around atomic-powered packs on their aging backs. What's a person plagued by spirits to do?

Answer: Take hold of an Nintendo DS touchpen and wipe the discarnates out with scribbling action. That's right, scribbling action. Played like a visual novel with spirit encounter scenes, players read a scary story and then wax spirits from the screen. Once they're gone, the house they inhabit will no longer be cursed and birds will sing outside once again. All preorders will ship with a bonus Drama CD and reservations are welcome to ship on August 7, 2008. Jan Code: 4582246790236

Zero: Gesshoku no Kamen - Import Preorder

Tecmo's Zero (Fatal Frame) franchise returns this summer with a new adventure that takes place on a spooky island. A few years ago, five girls were brought to the island against their will. In the ensuing rescue attempt, two of the girls were killed but three were saved and spirited back home. Years later, the survivors return to the island to determine what exactly happened and come to terms with their traumatic ordeal.

The Camera Obscura remains the weapon of choice in the new Zero game which is controlled by the Wii Remote. The nunchuk is used to maneuver the heroines in the game as they explore dank areas haunted by vengeful spooks. Preorders are welcome to ship on July 31, 2008 at JPY6476 or US$63.90 from NCS. Imabikisou: Kaimei Hen - Import Preorder

Chunsoft originally released Imabikisou last year on the Playstation 3. Built on the strictures of Japanese cinematic horror, the sound novel featured slow pacing, gloomy hues, and discordant audio effects when the occasion called. The game is now headed to the Wii.

The Playstation 3 original featured six horror scenarios and the Wii update includes two new chapters to compel fans to open up their wallets and buy the game again.
Imabikisou plays like an interactive adventure where choices that are made during the course of game affect the conclusion. Preorders ship on Aug. 7, 2008. Jan Code: 4974365142209

Freddy vs Jason Cosplay Gear - In Stock

If you've ever had the inclination to don a battle-weary hockey mask or wear a wicked-looking clawed glove, your chance is here. Continuing the Horror Summer theme, Sega releases two props for anyone aspiring to take on the personas of Freddy of Nightmare on Elm Street fame or Jason Voorhees from the Friday the 13th movies.
The claws look menacing but they're made of pliable plastic and are mounted onto a rugged gray glove. The mask measures 26cm tall and is affixed to a wearer's noggin by two straps. «Photo Gallery»

Freddy vs Jason 12cm Figure - In Stock

You can't have a Horror Summer without bringing two of the scariest silver screen killers together in a figure offering. Freddy Kruegger wears his trademark claw-glove on his right hand while Jason Voorhees wields a blade capable of gutting fish, livestock, and the young adults engaging in relations scattered around the neighborhood. The clothing that the two murderers wear is also somewhat accurate replicas of their movie incarnations. Freddy's shirt looks right, his face is burned, and the hat is spot on. Jason's ski mask is recognizable but we would have dressed him in greasy rags instead of the shiny all-black ensemble. The figures measure 12 cm tall and orders ship today. «Photo Gallery»
