Siblings Riki and Mami clamber into a mighty mech and go on fast paced missions where mass destruction is the goal. The Nintendo DS conversion of the former N64 and Dreamcast game features a total of 80 levels and a multiplayer wireless function where up to four gamers link up and blast away.

The first few missions are simple seek and destroy exercises where the D-pad is used to move the Bangai-O robot and the "X" or "Y" buttons are tapped to fire bouncing missiles and later on, to lash out a sword slash. To perform a forward dash move, press the "A" button while the "B" button fire the primary weapon .
