General Updates

NEWS Processing Gateway Operational
The processing gateway that handles payments processing for our shop at www.ncsxshop.com performed a server migration and system maintenance on Sunday morning. They botched it and the gateway was down all day Sunday and down until 9:27AM EST today. As of 9:28AM however, the gateway is working and processing transactions again. Yes, they're a huge company and yes, they're incompetent. They handle transactions processing for thousands of online shops so they're probably getting irate calls, unkind emails, and other pleasantries from thousands of merchants this morning who lost 32 hours worth of orders. Whenever there's an issue with the main shop, we can also accept orders on our second shop which is located at www.shopncsx.com.
BLU Saturday Delivery
The shipment that was supposed to be delivered last Friday was delivered by UPS on Saturday. Our FFVII boxes were the only packages in the truck. All remaining preorders and new orders will ship today for the Final Fantasy VII Complete LE Blu-Ray and the Final Fantasy XIII "Cloud Black" PS3 bundle. NCS expects to keep both items in stock for the next month since we have a large surplus on hand now and have inventory being stored in Japan.
360 XBox Live Points Cards
Microsoft Points Cards for use on the Japanese Xbox Live network are in stock again and available in both 1400p and 3500p values. Similar to the Playstation Network Cards, Xbox Live Points cards will be fulfilled by email. Customers who order a card will receive an email with a GIF image file attachment which contains the scan of the actual card.

PC-Engine Thunder Blade HuCARD - Clearance

NCS Sale Offering: April 20, 2009
Original Release in Japan: December 07, 1990

«©NCSX»
New and factory sealed Thunder Blade HuCARD for the PC-Engine which is in excellent condition. Sega's conversion of Thunder Blade isn't exactly a 1:1 conversion but it's not too bad. When flying over the buildings in the first stage, every edifice is rickety and the backgrounds are extremely sparse but the game play itself is alright.

Sale Offering:
Pricing is set at US$30.90 per copy. If you reside in the USA, you may select USPS Media Mail shipping on our shop which is about $2.50. International customers are encouraged to select USPS First Class Airmail at a cost of approximately US$10 to most destinations. «Photo Gallery»

Fate Unlimited Codes Portable Accessory Kit - JPN Preorder

» Playstation Portable storage case which includes an inner mesh pocket to hold UMDs, earphones, or memory sticks. The top of the case is decorated with line art of Saber.

» Two replacement D-pad overlays that go over the PSP's rift-pad to provide a solid control pad. One of the replacement overlays is based on the conventional cross-pad design whilst the second overlay features a diamond shaped thumb pad.

Preorders are welcome on our reservations store at www.shopncsx.com to ship on or around June 18, 2009 at JPY2800 or US$30.90 from NCS.

DS Card Case 16 - Import Preorder

«©NCSX» We have a lot of Nintendo DS game cards that have been accumulated over the past few years. Their numbers tend to grow quickly week after week and month after month as hundreds of games pass through our fingers every year. All those games need to be stored and we have a good shelving system for archiving everything. For day to day storage however, one nifty bit of kit that Hori released last year is convenient for holding NDS game cards that are still "active" in our playing schedule.

The DS Card Case 16 was originally released in the summer of 2008 in three colors and holds up to sixteen game cards on two double-sided plastic inserts. The inserts are sandwiched together like the pages of a book and may be flipped open like a mini book. Hori has announced two new color variants (Blue and Lime-Green) which are scheduled to ship on May 21 and preorders are welcome today. Pricing is set at ¥760 or US$8.

General Updates

BLU Final Fantasy VII Advent Children Complete Update
A second largish shipment of FFVII AC Complete LE and "Cloud Black" bundles made it to UPS' distribution hub in Kentucky last night at 2:02AM but we don't see a dispatch scan out of Kentucky as of this morning. The shipment may still be delivered today after 2PM EST but that doesn't leave us with a lot of time to process/pack/ship a few hundred packages within a 2-3 hour time window. We'll do our best to get everything out though.
We'll post some more news later today to update the delivery status but if the shipment doesn't arrive on time, please note that it would be re-scheduled for Monday since it's unlikely that they'd try to make a delivery attempt on Saturday. New orders are welcome to ship on Monday.
PS3 Playstation Network Tickets Restocked
JPY3000 and JPY5000 tickets were restocked yesterday but the JPY3000s are already all gone. We still have JPY5000s for fulfillment today. Additional supplies of the JPY3000 should arrive in the next 2-3 days. The Hong Kong PSN tickets in HK$150 denominations are also in stock.

PC-Engine GT Com Cable - Clearance

NCS Sale Offering: April 17, 2009
Original Release in Japan: December 01, 1990

«©NCSX»
New and factory boxed PC-Engine GT Com Cable which links up two PC-Engine GT handhelds to each other. The packaging for our remaining inventory is in shoddy shape (see photos) but the cables inside are brand new, clean, and fresh. We also located some new PC-Engine GT units in our old stock but we think we're going to keep them instead of listing the units for sale. We might get nostalgic one of these days and actually want to play our collection of PC-Engine HuCARDS instead of flipping through them like baseball cards. «Photo Gallery»
