Haruhi Suzumiya 1/8 School Uniform Figure - New, In Stock

«©NCSX» The impish Haruhi of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya fame isn't your average high student student. She's into peculiar stuff and can alter reality thanks to her paranormal powers. Despite Haruhi's unconventional interests and abilities, her outward appearance is like that of an average schoolgirl who wears a white/blue school uniform. Haruhi has been rendered into a number of forms and Alter joins the toy parade.

Alter's Haruhi Suzumiya 1/8 School Uniform Figure is set to 1/8 scale and measures 18cm or 7.08" tall. The sculpture is by Hiroshi Inagaki whose skills are evident when inspecting the figure since Haruhi's clothing looks like soft cotton despite being carved from PVC. Haruhi wears her high school uniform and perches on her left leg while her right leg kicks backwards for the illusion of movement in the figure. A school bag is latched to Haruhi's right shoulder and a bright yellow ribbon circles the top of her head. A red armband imprinted with the kanji characters for "Team Leader" encircles her right arm to declare that she's the Queen Bee of the SOS Brigade. Nendroid Miku Hatsune Figure - Restock Import, In Stock

«©NCSX» Miku Hatsune, the star of the PC Vocaloid 2 software finds herself sculpted into Nendroid form. For the uninitiated, Vocaloid (Vocal + Android) is a Japanese song simulator from Yamaha and Crypton Future Media where users type in lyrics and the software engine sings out the words in rapid fire staccato. Voice actress Fujita Saki provides the voice for Miku Hatsune in the software and she sounds like a mix between a munchkin and a generalized cartoon character.

Vocaloid 2 has enjoyed strong sales since its release earlier this summer and it’s only fitting that the heroine of the software get in on some merchandising deals. The Nendroid version of Miku measures 10cm or 3.93" in height and three variant faces, a leek, and a pair of extra arms are included for posing purposes. All backorders will ship today.

Ryu Ga Gotoku 3 Original Soundtrack - Import Preorder

«©NCSX» When the latest Ryu Ga Gotoku game ships in Japan next month, Sega and Wavemaster will also release a soundtrack to accompany the software. Although the publisher hasn't updated the track listing as of last night, Japanese distributors started accepting preorders a few days ago. In the game, players reprise the role of a Yakuza henchman with a heart of gold who uses brute force and fighting skills to do his job. The music in previous RGG releases have generally been energetic so we're expecting more of the same uptempo beats that have permeated the last two games.

In Ryu Ga Gotoku 3, Kiryu gets to do some karaoke so there's tracks in the upcoming soundtrack where the voice actor (Takaya Kuroda) who plays him belts out a few tunes. The young girl named Haruka (CV: Rie Kugimiya) who Kiryu adopted also sings karaoke in the game so she'll also do a little crooning on the CD. Preorders are welcome to ship on Feb 26 2009.

Sengoku Tenka Touitsu - Import Preorder

«©NCSX» The Warring States period of Japanese history has inspired hundreds of games over the past couple of decades. Notable entries included early war simulations by Koei such as Romance of the Three Kingdoms and Nobunaga's Ambition. War sims aren't as prevalent as they once were in the gaming market but they occasionally make it to market. System Soft Alpha specializes in war games and the company announces a new war simulation which is based on the turbulent Warring States era.

Players take on the role of a lord who governs his territory with the help of generals, laborers, and troops. By making alliances with neighboring territories and waging war on others, the ultimate goal is reunification of Japan under a single house. To get players started, a tutorial explains the controls, operations, and overall menu functions. The game is played in phases which allows gamers to set policy, move troops, and perform other adjustments in a straightforward manner.

Preorders are welcome for a PS2 version of Sengoku Tenka Touitsu and a PSP version which includes a bonus scenario.

Kingdom Hearts Mobile: Sora Avatar Static Arts - Preorder

«©NCSX» Sora of Kingdom Hearts fame has a well-defined look that begins with his spiky hair followed by his blue eyes and an outfit that's decidedly Disney-esque. Who else would wear pantaloons that terminate directly below the knees with high top sneakers?

When the Kingdom Hearts Mobile service was unleashed in Japan, an online avatar version of Sora was created which may best be described as simplified-Sora. Although his facial features have been blotted down for the most part, the spiky hair and Keyblade are dead giveaways that this is the hero of the Kingdom Hearts series.

Square Enix has opened up preorders for a Sora Avatar Static Arts Sofubi (Soft Vinyl Figure) which measures 25cm or roughly 10" tall. Sora wears a red, white, and black ensemble that's accentuated by a pair of yellow sneakers with black trim. Sora's hand may be used to grip the vinyl Keyblade which is included with the figure. Additional accessories on the figure consist of a blue belt and a necklace. Preorders are welcome to ship in mid-late June 2009 at JPY9800 or US$109.90 from NCS.

Inclement Weather Due to snow in NYC and the consequent flight delays, this week's Japanese shipments are scheduled to arrive tomorrow morning. The snow was heavy overnight but has begun to taper off. If our shipments make it in this afternoon before 4PM EST, we'll process and ship preorders today.
