At the outset of the game, a small infantry unit is at Napoleon's disposal but as he wins campaigns and skirmishes, the French commander will soon gain cannons, armored cavalry and other instruments of war to aid his armies.
To remind players that this is a virtual
fantasy game and not an accurate
historical simulation, monsters may also
be controlled to attack the enemy. Foes
may also retaliate with mighty beasts
which are capable of leveling entire
regiments to keep Napoleon's power in
check.
