NEWS S.W.C - Day 06 - Venus & Braves Limited Ed.

NCS Product Synopsis
Original Release: February 13, 2003
«©NCSX» Two immortals lead bands of recruited fighters, magic users and long-range artillery support in a bid to repel dark demonic invaders. The younger immortal, a knight named Blood Boall clocks in at 345 years old while the ancient Ariah will only say she is about 1000 years old. Yes, even immortal women are sketchy on their exact age.

The immortals gather together forces of monks, fighters, clerics, valkyries and other adventure seeking archetypes to fight in their armies. Set in rows of three, arrangements of fighters are important in the swing of Venus, where strong fighters should lead the ranks backed by long range archers towards the rear. Throw in a mix of magic users and clerics providing arcane support and you have a mobile army capable of withstanding any assault. Spot animations are evident during battles and every attack and magical blast is shown in exacting detail.

Venus & Braves Limited Edition Contents
The limited edition of Venus & Braves includes a visual artbook, a music CD (20 tracks) and three toy figures of the main characters in the game: Blood, Ariah and Heihei. These items are treasures for fans of the game but we'd argue that the real treasure in the Venus & Braves Premium Pack is the game itself which we found thoroughly addictive, hauntingly beautiful, and a barrel of fun.

Venus & Braves LE Product Condition
NCS' remaining inventory is brand new and factory sealed but please note that there are slight dents or dings on the corners or sides of the product packaging due to years in storage and warehouse-to-warehouse transportation.

Sale Update: August 11, 2010
Pricing per Venus & Braves LE pack is US$95.90 which includes free shipping by UPS Ground within the continental United States. We sold a bunch of these to vendors in Japan last week for US$103.89 each based on the prevailing exchange rate and they peddle the game on Amazon.jp for the equivalent of US$211.10 + shipping. After Amazon's cut of about 20%, vendors are trading Venus LE at a healthy profit margin. With the dollar at multi-year lows against the yen, we've found it favorable to start shipping our U.S. based inventory back to Japan to take advantage of the strong currency. We're paid in Japanese yen for goods we've kept warehoused in the USA ever since the good old days when the dollar was strong (US$1 = JPY134) and the yen was weak. «NCS Photo Gallery»
