«©NCSX» Step into the position of a high school baseball coach and guide your team to the national championship. By using a mix of sensible team management, base running, and opportune risk taking, managers attempt to beat other managers. The main game mode is "Koushien (High School) Baseball" but there's also the "Summer Koushien" mode where players engage in a summer tournament and the "Survival Gekitou" mode which features mission-based baseball action.
The word "Nettou!" in the game title refers to the wireless functionality of the game software where players around Japan can hook up online and enjoy mini-games, interact with each other, and view their stats and rankings on a national leaderboard.
