The sport of dungeon crawling is as old as the hills. Back in ancient times, Theseus descended into the depths of King Minos' labyrinth to slay the Minotaur. More recently, adventurers have been able to engage in dungeon crawling right in their living rooms. Imagine that.

From the Abyss fits squarely into the dungeon crawling category and features a solo hero who roams around the world in search of an evil beast. Along the way, treasure is collected, monsters are struck down, and levels are attained. The control scheme uses the D-pad for movement while the stylus may be used to select items or navigate through the menu shown on the touch screen. The fighting is in real time and takes place right on the world map where slashes may be chained together...
