PSV Playstation Vita TV - Import Update - Game Cards Not Region Blocked

NCS Product Synopsis  

   Physical US/EU Playstation Vita game cards that are on Sony's Japanese compatible game list will work on the Japanese Playstation Vita TV without issue. Please note however that the Vita TV will only allow Japanese Playstation Network accounts access; USA and European PSN accounts cannot be used with the Vita TV at this time.

   NCS will contact customers who have preordered the Vita TV with an update to re-confirm reservations before shipping orders today and next week.

PSV Playstation Vita TV - Import Update

NCS Product Synopsis  

   Due to information received by our Japanese vendors, please note that our shipments of the Playstation Vita TV were held yesterday until they could verify that USA/EU physical game cards work on the systems. Rather than go through an expensive international shipping and consequent return process back to Japan, we agreed with the delay in shipments from overseas. Once they are able to test and verify that USA/EU game cards do indeed work, they will release the shipments to us for delivery early next week. Please wait for further details but one customer who lives in Japan reported that he was able to play USA game cards on the Vita TV but we wanted verification from a supplier. It's not that we don't trust the veracity of his words but international overnight shipping is expensive.

   Please note that it has already been verified that only Japanese Playstation Network accounts may be accessed through the current firmware on the Playstation Vita TV. If you only have a USA/EU Playstation Network account, you will not be able to access your account on the Vita TV as of this time with the installed firmware. View the compatible Japanese game list.
