«©NCSX» Preorders for the regular edition of DoDonPachi Daifukkutsu v1.5 are welcome starting today but please note that there might be an allocation issue with the limited edition of the game. We'll clarify the details on Monday or Tuesday of next week and open orders then. We've never had a problem when it comes to ordering enough copies of the regular edition of a Cave shooter to qualify for bulk quantities of the limited edition but we prefer to proceed cautiously especially when the yen's at 15 year highs.
The first printing of the regular edition includes a bonus DoDonPachi Daifukkutsu v1.51 DLC card which appears to be the same card that was given away at the Cave Festival back in August. The limited edition of the game will ship with a DoDonPachi Special Arrange CD with compositions by Kenji Itou and Kouta Takahashi. Pricing is US$76.90 for the regular edition and we expect to price the limited edition at US$115.90. Please note that both versions of DoDonPachi Daifukkutsu are expected to be region-coded for Japan only. This means a Japanese Xbox 360 is required to play them.

«©NCSX» There's been some controversy with regards to Luna Luna's gender amongst the Queen's Blade Rebellion fanbase. We think she's a girl but others have speculated that he's a man. The evidence to back up their speculation? The protective "cup" that protrudes from Luna's genital area. The thing looks like a little horn and it's real curious. Repeat: curious.
To maintain civility and decorum, NCS is just going to assume that Luna is a genetic female who will never have the descriptor of "post-op" or "transgender" assigned to her biography. The MegaHouse production of Luna Luna is a 1/8 scale figure which measures 23cm or 9.06" tall. Why does Luna have an orange-hued spray-tan on? Well, it's not really a spray tan - according to Luna's bio, she lives in the jungle where she protects sacred ruins from interlopers. To dazzle would-be raiders of lost cities, Luna dances and she's aided by four tentacles which protrude from her hair. Tentacles are curious... and there's four of them. Preorders ship in January.

«©NCSX» Pirates enjoy scuffling, plundering, and drinking. Bandai's new One Piece Gigant Battle focuses on the propensity of pirates to scuffle although a OP drinking game would probably be big fun. In Gigant Battle, up to four players link up in 2-vs-2 pairings and fight each other on stages that were taken from the One Piece manga/anime franchise - specifically, locales from the Sabaody Archipelago story arc, the Impel Down episode, and the Marineford drama. The action takes place on the top NDS screen while the touchscreen serves as a control console where supporters may be called upon to join the battle with a tap of the touchpen.
Every copy of the game includes a bonus set of password cards which may be used to unlock in-game content.

«©NCSX» We still sell a couple of copies of Darius Burst on the PSP every week because shooters rule. We're not sure if the iPhone Darius Burst Another Chronicle cases rule though. The artwork is sharp but the message is unclear. What is someone from the lay supposed to glean from a case that depicts a bigass metallic fish as shown in designs A and B? Design C shows off Darius Burst ships which are more socially acceptable and we'll probably keep that one for one of our iPhone 3GS mobiles.

«©NCSX» The Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha the Movie 1st film debuted in Japan in January of this year and it enthralled viewers. The movie rehashed the happenings from the televised animation series on the big screen. Any animated movie production requires a lot of pre-production and this material is normally never shown to the public. In the case of the Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha the Movie 1st, they are going to show everything to the public in a 320-page book which collects the sketches and settings that were drawn during the pre-production process for the film. To liven up the iPhone case space, Taito enters the market with a set of three Space Invaders cases that are special. When you whip out your iPhone which is enclosed in a Space Invaders case, at least one passerby will likely exclaim, "That iPhone is bawlin'" and then attempt to relieve you of it.
