«©NCSX» Serph, Cielo, Sera, and friends return in the follow-up to the original Avatar Tuner. Taking place after the events of the first game, a cloaked Serph is walking alone in Nirvana which is anything but its namesake. A black sun lords over the world and sends scorching heat downwards. Drab, dusty, and populated with petrified and broken bodies, some evil has taken over the land. Seraph continues walking and eventually comes face to face with a hapless petrified soul who holds a .45 caliber pistol with both hands. The gun is inserted inside his own gaping mouth. Immediately after the disturbing scene, five warriors surround Serph with spears. Leaping into action and loosening the cloak, Seraph snatches the .45 caliber pistol from the stone man and quickly shoots four of the warriors dead. The fifth quickly morphs into a monstrous demon...which Serph counters with his own demonic shape-shifting skills.
 

   What has happened to Nirvana? Where are Sera and the rest of the gang? These and other questions await the intrepid explorer...

   In the game, Serph gallops along in fluid motion while a map on the lower-right corner keeps tabs on his position and whereabouts constantly. Make a quick turn and the map swivels instantaneously to keep one's bearings in proper perspective. The camera stays close and tracks from behind while hero runs ahead. Bump into unseen enemies and the scene shifts to a conflict screen where sides are arrayed against each other and attacks are shown in rapid albeit stiff fashion. While the heroes of the game may shift from human to demon, a third form called demi-demon may also be triggered which allows for berserker attacks which pierce enemy protections but also opens one up to enemy blows. It's like any other berserker rage mechanism fond in other games... Karma rings with insertion slots for jewels (to modify their protections) may also be wielded for defense against attacks.

«©NCSX» Hearken back to the Taisho Era of Japan (1912-1926) when Japan was ascendant on the world stage. Japan asserted its military might in Asia and leaned towards a democratic system of government. Against this backdrop, players take on the role of Raidou Kuzunoha once again who works as a detective for the Kuzunoha Detective Agency.
 

    Raidou returns in his regulation-issue outfit which consists of a black uniform and a cape that mkes him look like a superhero train conductor of sorts. Raidou uses magic as well as a sword to battle demonic forces that are loose within Japan but he's so powerful that "one man army" describes his formidable abilities to a tee. Battle sequences are rendered in 3D where Raidou runs around and attacks with sword slashes, gunfire, and streaming magical blasts that light up the screen. NCS considers the magic effects a kind of eldritch eye candy. A supporting cast of characters provide dramatic foil and to move the story along as Raidou's adventure unfolds.

 

   The Standard Edition of Devil Summoner includes a Devil Summoner Soundtrack CD inside every copy of the game. The CD contains 23 music tracks which total roughly 50 minutes of listening pleasure.

Designed by illustrator Yutaka Izubuchi, Ingram is a plastic model kit with fixed poses that pursues the most powerful and beautiful poses and proportions.

   There are plenty of highlights such as the organically shaped reactive armor part that conveys the texture, and the head and neck made of flowing surfaces. Although the surface shape of the parts is delicate, the thick molding allows for sturdy assembly. The molding color is pearl gray, which makes the unevenness of the molding stand out beautifully. Units 2 and 3 are also under construction! Please create a scene where all three aircraft are assembled.

«©NCSX» Thrusting through the skies of Astro City upon a 100,000 horse-power fusion reactor, Astro Boy battles the forces of evil with strength, smarts, and the metal burning flash of his finger laser. When in flight, Astro Boy moves with ease and hovers, darts and swoops with intuitive controls guiding the mighty mite. When battling, Astro Boy may grab large foes and swing them around (ala Mario on Bowser in Mario 64), punch, and blast out lasers to press the offensive. Objects may also be hefted and hurled for variety in the attack department. The illusion of flight is reasonably well done and Astro gives off the impression of weight and gravity during flying sojourns.

Asian version vs Japan version
   The only difference between the Asian and Japanese version of PS2 software is the distribution mark on the back of the DVD insert. The Asian version includes a Japanese game DVD and a Japanese instruction manual. As an added bonus, the Asian version includes an English quick-start guide which reveals the controls in the game.
