«©NCSX» Nintendo celebrates Mario's 25th Anniversary this year and they've announced a few products to commemorate the event already. Console-wise, there's only one Mario 25th Anniversary product and it's the crimson-tinted console seen to the left. Buyers who are courageous enough to pay the piper will get a Wii encased in red plastic, a red Remote and Nunchuk, and special Mario 25th anniversary packaging.
NCS is undecided on whether or not we'll keep one for our Mario vault in the basement. We wanted a Nintendo console that's colored red and blue to match Mario's overalls and shirt. Maybe we'll get our wish on Mario's 30th anniversary. Preorders are welcome to ship on October 28, 2010. Please note that Nintendo will also be releasing this console outside of Japan for the European marketplace.

As the story goes, Tetsuro hopes to transfer his consciousness into a mechanical body by taking a ride to the Andromeda Galaxy. On the way to his personal salvation, his mother is murdered by a ruthless hunter named Count Mecha. Tetsuro vows revenge but he meets a woman named Maetel who gives him a pass on the Galaxy Express which will lead him to the Andomeda Galaxy and grant him immortality. On the way there, Tetsuro and Maetel visit numerous planets and gain important life experiences. The NDS game features the voice cast from the animated series, a 4-player competitive board game, and a Data Collection which contains information on events, characters, and items from the Galaxy Express 999 serial. The Premium Box includes a fixed-pose Maetel figure and a digital alarm clock which features the Maetel and GEX999 artwork (sans the slovenly Tetsuro) from the NDS game cover.

«©NCSX» Snoopy of Peanuts fame has gone through a number of renditions in the 60 years that he's appeared in Charles Schulz's comic strip. Snoopy first appeared in 1950 and has gone through 5 major revisions through the years. To celebrate the 60th anniversary of Peanuts and Snoopy, System Service has announced a set of tinted crystals which are laser-etched with the image of Snoopy as he appeared in the 1950s, the 1960s, 1970s, 1980s, and the 1990s. The latest version of Snoopy (1990) has endured the longest and he'll probably be with us for a while. The laser etching imbues the innards of each crystal with a 3D representation of Snoopy which may be viewed from different angles.
The Snoopy crystals are normally sold randomly through gashapon dispensers in Japan but NCS gathers up all five crystals and bundles them in a complete set at US$30.90. All preorders have shipped already and new orders are welcome to ship this afternoon. «Snoopy Crystal Gallery»

«©NCSX» Broadblast gets his turn as a USB Hub. Not many Transformers receive such a dubious honor but Broadblast is special. Yes, he's special in some way that NCS will expound upon sometime within the next 5 years.
The Transformers Device Label Broadblast USB Hub contains four USB 2.0 ports so that PC owners can connect mice, scanners, drives, and other devices to a computer by way of USB. The Hub is powered through its USB connection to a PC and no external power source is required. In USB Hub form, the device looks like a standard piece of PC hardware from Taiwan but flip it, tuck it, and swivel it around to create the boxy robot known as Broadblast whose chest is a cassette player.
