«©NCSX» What the Japanese call "Ghost Shrimp" is better known as "Brine Shrimp" or in some circles, "Sea Monkeys." The shrimp have been in existence for ages and in that time, they've developed a technique to ensure that their kind survives drought and dead lake beds. Brine shrimp eggs can survive in desiccated condition for years until rain replenishes the lakes with life giving water. Brine shrimp can reach adulthood within a week's time where they undergo little over a dozen molts to rid themselves of aging exoskeletons that they've outgrown.
Epoch starts preorders for sets of Brine Shrimp kits which consist of three packets as follows: saline for conditioning the water, brine shrimp eggs, and food. A little instruction booklet and a combination magnifying glass/scoop are also included to get started with raising brine shrimps. Preorders are welcome to ship in June 2010 at US$15.90 for the complete set of four "Ghost Shrimp" kits.

«©NCSX» Brand new and factory boxed AC Adapter Pocket for the Gameboy Pocket or Gameboy Color which powers the handhelds with DC3V rated at 350mA; the center core is positive. Hori's AC adapter may be used with Japanese and North American Gameboy Color/Pocket handhelds but are not compatible with European GB Pockets. Hori originally shipped the adapters to vendors in Japan over 14 years ago and they've been sitting in storage since then. Although they're not official Nintendo brand, the adapters are an officially licensed production of the Gameboy Color/Pocket AC adapter from a well known manufacturer of accessories.

Product Condition
NCS' remaining inventory is brand new and factory boxed in the original cardboard container. The condition of the packaging is in excellent structural shape with little to no signs of wear or weathering. A cardboard retainer inside the box keeps the adapter stable and secure from shuffling around during shipping.

«©NCSX» Lightning struck (sorry) when Final Fantasy XIII shipped on the Japanese Playstation 3 late last year to eager fans around the globe. Sure, most stateside players couldn't read the text in the adventure but that didn't stop gamers from doling out a nifty US$100 for a chance to check out the latest Final Fantasy adventure. A treasure trove of merchandise has already been released to dovetail with the game but Square keeps the gravy train rolling with some more goodies this year.

For the first week of March, NCS brings in the FFXIII Original Lightning Strap which features a black metal plate with silver-colored trim that's jagged like a bolt of lightning. Get it? Lightning. The plate measures H15 x W29 x D2mm in dimension and a pair of Swarovski crystals are embedded on one end of the bolt. A second smaller plate measuring H35 x W5 x D1mm is also tethered to the retaining loop. GEAR Professor Layton Kyouju Strap - New Import, In Stock

«©NCSX» Professor Hershel Layton is an experienced problem/puzzle solver and his young assistant Luke Triton isn't too shabby himself. They're both starring in Furyu's new Professor Layton Kyouju Strap which is part of the "Eternal Diva" movie merchandise. Each strap consists of a colorful plastic character piece, a purple plastic gemstone, and a glossy black finger strap with loop attachment. The Professor Layton Eternal Diva logo is printed on the side of the black finger strap to ensure recognition. Each strap and character measures approximately 3" in length.

«©NCSX» Spring is just a few weeks away and the cherry blossoms on trees are set to bloom once temperatures begin averaging in the 50s. Dogwood trees are also scheduled to shoot out bunches of pink blossoms to greet onlookers as Spring marches into view. Although the Blossom Pink PSP can't match the majesty of Mother Nature, it looks pretty snazzy anyway. NCS attempts to use the word "snazzy" at least once a year.

The closest approximation of the type of pink that Sony paints the Blossom Pink PSP is lipstick. To be exact, "Pink Diamond" lipstick because the PSP has a glossy shimmer to it. Stare at the pink patina and marvel at how the color matches the hue on the lips of Kogals who've applied a little too much Pink Diamond.
