Taito Game T-Shirt Darius Gaiden - SOLD OUT

«©NCSX» Taito debuted Darius Gaiden in 1994 and we remember looking at the introductory sequence and having zero success in making sense of the "Engrish" text. There was a blurb about Proco and Tiat going on a journey, something about a planet called "Vadis" and a "Demon's Hand" causing some trouble there. We recognized the "Silver Hawks" in the intro but little else made much contextual sense. Taito couldn't do English but at least they could churn out a good shooter. The first boss in Darius Gaiden was a monstrous fish known as Golden Ogre which shot out waves of metallic scales and fired a blistering laser blast. Forget him. While you're at it, forget about Ancient Dozer, Deadly Crescent, and even the mega-mighty Crusty Hammer. There could only be one monster with enough stature, good looks, and pimp-handedness to appear in Taito's official Darius Gaiden tee - King Fossil. The King has appeared in all but two Darius games so he's the natural monster model of choice. Partial preorders will begin shipping this afternoon.

250 Manin no Kanken Premium Zenkyu Zenkanji - In Stock

«©NCSX» Practice your kanji reading and writing skills with the latest volume of 250 Manin no Kanken which translates to "Kanji Practice Test for 2.5 Million People." The software features exercises for writing kanji properly with the correct stroke order and learning the proper pronunciation. The writing area on the touch screen is made of four quadrants upon which kanji characters may be written and then entered into a character holding row directly above the quadrants. While your kanji writing is taken shape on the screen, a character box on the immediate left of the writing area begins to interpret what you're writing and "guesstimates" which kanji you're scribbling appear inside the box. Once the correct one appears, stop writing and it's automatically entered into the kanji holding row. The character recognition is rather good and very fast for efficient exercise stints.

Live Battle Card: Live On DS - Import Preorder

«©NCSX» The Card Live-R property in Japan is a triple threat with representation in an animation series, a card game, and manga. Better make that a quadruple threat with a Nintendo DS game shipping in July 2009. The story follows the adventures of a lad named Kakeru Amato who rescues a wounded pup. As a sort of reward, Kakeru gets something known as a "Live-Change Card" which imparts the ability for Kakeru to transform into a powerful monster. That makes him a Card Live-R who's a card flipping player that summons monsters from cards to battle other monsters from cards called forth from other Card Live-Rs. Compelling. Preorders for the Nintendo DS Live Battle Card game are welcome to ship on May 18, 2009.

Last Bullet - New Import, Restock Soon

«©NCSX» Hibiki Karin isn't your average sniper. She doesn't wear fatigues, eye paint, or peer into an unnaturally large scope. Hibiki is a seemingly normal girl who attends Aoba University but she's been pushed into the sniping life by circumstances beyond her control. As if to accentuate how much of a normal girl Hibiki is, the first shooting exercise in the game is of the carnival variety where toy prizes including a teddy bear are shot at with a toy rifle. Hibiki's handler is a bespectacled man named Tsukasa Sakuma who gives her missions and objectives to accomplish. In the first proper mission, Hibiki's target is an enemy operative's weapon which he holds upright in front of his face. If Hibiki fires and hits the operative instead, it's a failed mission. We found that moving the scope ahead and waiting for the operative to come into view before shooting resulted in an S ranking for destroying the hapless agent's weapon.

Dun-Dam: Dungeons & Dam - New Import, In Stock

«©NCSX» A blade-wielding brunette named Shion and a ginger known as Vier are part of a vanguard force who destroys robots and monsters with weapons and water. They control a cylindrical dam which is capable of pouring out streams of rushing water which washes away monsters who are burrowing in the tunnels below. These creatures are invading the overworld but that can't be allowed to continue. By opening the spigot at opportune moments, the party has an unstoppable force at their disposal to rid the world of invaders. At the outset of the game, the player's party performs sentry duties on three locations to protect the city walls from attacks. Close combat is used in the beginning since the dam isn't ready yet. After each successful stint, a character interaction sequence opens up which relays some background information and moves the story along.

General Updates

NEWS Demon's Souls (Asian Version) Update
We're filling backorders for Demon's Souls tomorrow according to the time frames listed in the product description on our shop. As mentioned earlier, new orders that are placed now will not ship until mid-late May when the next production of the game is finished. There is NO surplus stock being printed by Sony and it appears that they're only producing enough to fill confirmed orders from dealers. I.e, if a vendor doesn't submit an order weeks in advance, they're not getting any from each production run.
